Crystal Guidance
How to Cleanse & Recharge
To cleanse your crystals, start by setting your intention, then run them under running water to remove any residual energy. Natural springs, streams, and rivers are best. You can also immerse them in a glass bowl or cup of salt or use sage smoke for purification. For effective recharging, leave your crystals under moonlight or sunlight for a few hours to allow them to absorb positive energy. Always verify that your crystals are safe to be in water, salt, smoke, and sunlight before the cleansing process.

Root Chakra, Yoga & Crystals
Introduction
Welcome to our Root Chakra Yoga practice. This practice will focus on grounding and stabilizing our energy with the support of crystals and crystal energy. The Root Chakra, or Muladhara, is located at the base of the spine. It's name translates as 'root' or 'support'. We can feel that this energy center in our body may need tending to when we feel an excess or even low levels of anxiety of, fear and instability. Or perhaps we look at situations in ours lives and we are feeling uprooted and unsafe. In the physical body, root chakra imbalance can give us clues with imbalances in our legs, feets, bones or the large intestine. In this practice we will work with the energy of certain yoga poses, movement practices, breath and meditation combined WITH the energetic support of specific crystals known for their grounding properties. Often crystals chosen for grounding root chakra work have colors that remind us of the colors that would exists in the roots of the earth, like reds, blacks, browns and greys. On a vibrational level, grounding crystals often contain a significant amount of iron, which may contribute to their grounding properties. The iron within these crystals is thought to create a magnetic pull that resonates with the Earth's iron core, increasing their ability to anchor and stabilize energy. This magnetic connection helps draw down excess energy and promotes a sense of stability and groundedness. Today I am working with Black Tourmaline, but you can also work with many kinds of Jaspers, Obsidian, Garnet, or Hematite or other crystal you prefer for grounding.

Sacral ChakraYoga & Crystals
Introduction
Welcome , This short practice will focus on working with tuning and harmonizing the energies of the sacral chakra with the support of crystals and crystal energy. The Sacral Chakra, or Svadhisthana, is located just below the navel. Its name translates as 'one's own abode' or 'one's own sweetness'. We can feel that this energy center in our body may need tending to when we experience an excess of guilt, shame, or emotional instability. Physical issues such as problems with the reproductive organs, kidneys, or lower abdomen can also indicate an imbalance in this chakra. Additionally, feeling creatively blocked or disconnected from pleasure can signal that our sacral chakra needs attention. In this practice, we will use yoga postures, movement practices, breath, and meditation with the energetic support of specific crystals known for their sacral chakra properties. Often, crystals chosen for sacral chakra work are colors that remind us of the warmth and passion such as oranges and reds. On a vibrational level, crystals for the sacral chakra often contain elements that resonate with energy of flow, and have an ability to promote fluidity and emotional balance. Today, I am working with Tiger's Eye. This is partly because of the flowing lines of solidified quartz that you can see in its veins, which help to smooth out and channel energy flow. I also like Tiger's Eye because visually it has what is called chatoyancy, that looks like the gleam in a cats eye, and inspires a more cat like instinctual and embodied energy. Other gemstone I personally like for sacral chakra work are Orange Calcite, Amber and Sunstone because of their fiery colors, but also even Moonstone and Labradorite, because even though they don't hold typical sacral chakra colors, their fluid lines and inner atomic structures have strong connections to the emotional body and an ability to work with transmutation of complexities in our lives.
Sacral Chakra Yoga with Crystals
Approx 10 - 15 Mins (depending on lengths you hold postures)
Crystals
~ Tiger’s Eye ~ Orange ~ Calcite ~ Amber ~ Sunstone ~ Citrine ~ Moonstone ~ Labradorite ~
~ Abdominal Breathing (1-2 Mins) ~
~ Lie on your back with your legs extended comfortably on the mat. Place your crystal on the sacral chakra area, just below the navel.
~Close your eyes taking a moment to feel the crystal on your sacral chakra, visualizing it as a supportive friend to help to bring balance into this energy system.
~ We will start with diaphragmatic breathing to flood and flush stagnant energies in our bodies.
~ Inhale deeply through your nose or mouth, expanding your belly like a balloon. Exhale fully, releasing all breath.
~ Inhale as fully as you can, taking in as much breath as possible through your nose or mouth, and then exhale fully, releasing all breath.
~ Now committ to this breath for 1 minute. Flushing your energy body with cleansing breath...imagining like youre sweeping out the cracks.
~ Now release hold of your crystal, and place it on the ground, nearby.
~ Bridge Pose (2-3 Mins) ~
~ Moving now into bridge pose to bring a focused toning energy into the sacral chakra. Bend your your knees, planting your feet on the ground hip distance apart and and walk your feet closer to your sit bones. They should be close enough that you can just barely reach down with your fingers and just barely touch your heels. Feet should be aligned, toes straight towards the end of your yoga mat.
~Plant the palms of your hands beside your hips, gently wiggle and tuck your shoulder blades in underneath you, and lift your hips towards the sky, creating a bridge shape with your body.
~Careful not to overtuck your neck and instead keep your cervical spine neutral, almost like you're holding a ball the size of a baseball between chin and chest.
~ Spend a moment here first exploring the space by tipping your pelvis in different directions, almost like there is a wide bowl of water sitting on your low belly and you are tilting and tipping the water over different edges.
~ Come to a balanced and neutral position of your pelvic bowl, imagining that the water in the bowl is now balanced and calm. Take 2-3 full length breaths here, imagining that you are creating a clear and stable channel for energy in this chakra.
~ Happy Baby Pose (1-2 Mins) ~
~ Gently release this posture, and we will move into happy baby to bring a softness into the sacral area, helping to create space for energies to move and to flush and clear energies held in the hip flexors.
~ Staying on your back, lift legs and feet and with knees bent deeply, gently grab the outer edges of your thighs ankles or outer feet. Gently pull them towards your armpits while keeping your knees bent.
~ Call your attention back to a deep and full breath, as you relax your lower back and hips. Imagine that each breath helps to soften your energy body, enhancing the flow of creativity and releasing tension from the sacral chakra.
~ Now releasing this pose and rolling onto one side, then press yourself onto hands and knees.
~ Intuitive Cirlces (on hands & knees) (1-3 Mins) ~
~ The energy of our sacral chakra is deeply connected to the fluid nature of our emotional bodies, the flow or creative and abundance.
~ Begin to make slow, intuitive circular movements with your torso. Move in any direction that feels natural and that is guided by the subtle cues of your intuitive knowing of where to go next, how deep and how long to stay.
~ As you flow, tune into your sacral chakra, for guidance, let it is energetically leading all movement from this intuitive space within you.
~ Closing Seated Pose (1-3 Mins) ~
~ Now return to a comfortable seated position.
~Hold your crystal in your hands, close your eyes and feel the crystals shape, textures and warmth. Imaging you can connect to the energies and vibrations it holds.
~ Close your eyes and repeat quietly or out loud 3 times each:
"I am creative."
“I am abundant”
“ I am in flow”
~Sitting for a moment in the energy of the sacral chakra. Imagine a glowing orange light radiating equally and in balance all directions around you.

Throat ChakraYoga & Crystals
Introduction
Welcome, this short practice will focus on energizing and balancing the Throat Chakra with the support of crystals and their unique vibrations. The Throat Chakra, or Vishuddha, is located at the throat. Its name translates as ‘purity’ or ‘purification.’ This energy center may be calling for attention when we experience difficulty in expressing ourselves, fear of speaking, or issues with communication. Physical signs of imbalance can include throat or thyroid problems, neck pain, and laryngitis. In this practice, we’ll use specifically chosen yoga poses, breathwork, and meditation with the energetic support of crystals that support harmony in the Throat Chakra. I am working today with Lapis Lazuli, because of its ability to enhance communication and self-expression while also providing a deep sense of peace. Lapis Lazuli can really connect us also to higher energies, so that the communication we do have is coming from the place of greatest frequency possible. Typically, crystals worked with for the throat chakra are blues and aquas...or really think oceanic colours, and their energies are often that that encourage flowing and expansive energy, as well as calm and soothing. Other crystals I like for the Throat Chakra are Aquamarine, Blue Lace Agate, Sodalite, Apatite and Amazonite.

~This particular breathing exercise, because of its pace, encourages the nervous system into a space of safety and relaxation.
~ The lotus pose, and also the lotus of the crown chakra symbolizes purity, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening, representing the blossoming of consciousness.
~ Visualize a lotus flower blooming at the top of your head, with each breath helping it to open and connect with higher consciousness.
~ Seated Meditation ~
~ Now gently release this posture and make your way to a seated position, where your spine is straight to allow for a smooth channel for higher energies. Hold your crystal in your hands if you like.
~Once again, tune into the space above your head, imagining it like an open portal for connection to your higher self. Repeat the following affirmations silently.
"I am divine."
"I am connected."
"I am spirit."
~ Imagine there is a glowing white energy at the crown chakra expanding in all directions equally, in balance and in harmony.
~ Closing Instructions ~
~ As you continue the rest of your day, keep your crystal close by to connect to the intentions and energies you have infused into its memory
